Offers a wide range of delicious, freshly prepared locally sourced food throughout the day. Our menus are regularly changed to incorporate the finest local produce which has arrived that day, by our Head Anthony and this team uses only the freshest, local produce in the planning of the restaurant menus.

Along with exceptional food at the Watermill Restaurant, guests can expect to be served with the highest level of efficiency by our dedicated front of house team.

To accompany our freshly prepared menus we are able to offer a wide selection of wines from around the world on our comprehensive wine list.

Not only is the Watermill Bar & Restaurant the ideal setting for hotel guests to relax, it is also a firm favourite with local residents, open 7 days a week the restaurant attracts regular diners from places such as Sherburn in Elmet, Garforth, Castleford, Wakefield and Pontefract, along with many travelling from Leeds and York that come to sample the freshly prepared cuisine.

We also have three private rooms available, ideal for weddings and private dining Events.

The Watermill Restaurant is open 7 days a week from 7am until 10pm, serving breakfast, lunch & dinner, morning coffee, afternoon tea and room service. and now our New Tapas Selection.

All our menus are changed regularly, however sample menus can be found below.

Start your day with a “Proper Yorkshire Breakfast” that offers freshly prepared  products and locally produced honey comb.
Monday – Friday 6:30am – 9:30am
Saturday – Sunday 8:00am – 10:00am

Our Lunch menu is served from midday until 3:00pm.
For those looking for either something a bit lighter or a quick snack our Lounge Menu is also available
10am until 10pm. and local Tapas menus are available

Evening dining is very relaxing and informal with both hotel guests and local residents being able to enjoy freshly prepared meals. Our Chef Selection Dinner is served 6pm until 10pm to make a reservation and register for promotions and offers.

Sundays are a day of relaxation, and what better way to enjoy the day than Sunday lunch at the Watermill Restaurant. We now serve Sunday lunch all day from midday until 9pm, so you can choose what time you would like to eat. Choose from our freshly prepared options
One course £8.95,two courses for £13.95 and £15.95 for 3 course.

We also offer a fantastic freshly prepared indulgent Afternoon Tea from 3pm until 5pm Monday until Saturday £10.75 per person
