Compass Hospitality launches a unique Social Media campaign to boost online exposure for the Grand Swiss Hotel, Bangkok
Hosting a Score the Right Goal Facebook Campaign
Compass Hospitality, a young and dynamic hospitality company with hotels spread across Thailand and Malaysia, has recently hosted a Facebook campaign to highlight the brand new Grand Swiss Hotel in Sukhumvit Soi 11 of Bangkok, Thailand.
With up to 64 contestants who were eager to win a free stay for two nights with American buffet breakfast and a 30% discount on the Best Available Rates for the following nights, this campaign has not only given the hotel a lot of Social Media exposure but also amplified the engagement on the main Compass Hospitality Facebook page with an increase of 3,936 likes.
The campaign, named Score the Right Goal, used the FIFA World Cup 2014 as the theme. Basing the game on the last three levels of the World Cup – the Quarter Finals, Semi-Finals and Finals, contestants were required to find footballs of participating teams during those matches on the main Grand Swiss Hotel website and submit their answers on the Compass Hospitality Facebook wall where the first 10 entries would proceed onto the next level and so on.
There were 4 levels altogether that reached a total time span of 12 days from Friday 4th July 2014 to Tuesday 15th July 2014. After narrowing the contestants from 10, 8 to 6, the final stage required the remaining 6 contestants to answer one question about the Grand Swiss Hotel with the first entry winning the grand prize. The question being which room of the Grand Swiss Hotel one would have to book in order to get free access to the 180° Lounge and its benefits, which is to book one of the Executive Rooms.
Score the Right Goal has been one of Compass Hospitality’s most successful campaigns of the year so far, with many participants from different countries worldwide joining in with the game while enjoying the progression of the World Cup and taking their chance to win a free stay in a brand new hotel and explore the wonders of Bangkok city life.
