First entering the UK market in April 2015, Compass Hospitality has signed up the management of its 10th hotel, Best Western Plus Milford Hotel located midway between the vibrant city of Leeds and the historic walled city of York. With the A1(M), M1 and M62 motorways nearby, the hotel is well regarded for its convenient location.
All of the hotel’s 46 well-appointed rooms are air-conditioned and further distinguished by ensuite bathrooms featuring underfloor heating and anti-fog heated mirror. A selection of room types and sizes meets the different guest requirements, whether for leisure or business.
Watermill Restaurant & Bar derives its name from a working water wheel featured inside the premises. The culinary offering is inspired by Yorkshire cuisine, including Yorkshire pudding (the most well-known Yorkshire food) and Sunday roast, to name a few. Together with 3 other meeting rooms, groups of 6 to 120 persons can be hosted for parties, weddings, meetings and events. A spacious open car park adds to the convenience of in-house guests, nearby residents or visitors.
The hotel’s new owner is Singapore based Seacare Hospitality Pte Ltd and this is the sixth hotel Seacare Hospitality has partnered Compass Hospitality as the hotel operator in the UK. Seacare Hospitality’s CEO Lim Chye Teen said, “Our latest hotel acquisition further improves our geographic connectivity in the UK and offers a greater choice to our guests in terms of destinations and lifestyle preferences.
