Life never stops giving us a reason to celebrate, especially when living in such a multi-cultural world! Just last weekend, Bangkok city enjoyed Valentine’s Day and right after the period of romance, we enter into Chinese New Year! So to celebrate this occasion, some of our hotels have organised dining promotions to welcome the Year of the Goat!
Dim Sum is a style of Southern Chinese – Cantonese or Hokkien – food that is prepared as bite-sized pieces in small steamer baskets or small plates. The actual Dim Sum itself is wrapped in see-through rice flour or wheat starch sheets and within this wrap can be many things ranging from beef, chicken, pork, prawns, to vegetables.
11th Avenue Café at Grand Swiss
The 11th Avenue Café of the Grand Swiss Hotel Bangkok also has a special offer under this theme but rather than being a buffet, you can enjoy Dim Sum and refillable hot tea as a set lunch.
The atmosphere here is a little different to the Bodega Restaurant as it is entirely indoor dining in a uniquely designed restaurant decorated with artwork from the North of Thailand. A set is also at a slightly lower price of THB 199 net per person that you can enjoy within the span of 11.30 am – 3 pm.
